It provides local teens a place to safely engage with their peers while enjoying activities including pool, video games, computer access, and movie nights. Youths also have the opportunity to receive help with homework, tutoring, and job skills training. More than 300 teens are registered at the Center with nearly 40 teens attending every day. In all Center programs, the staff advocates character building, leadership, and life skills. The SoZo Teen Center is open Monday through Thursday from 2:30 to 8:30 pm and until 9:00 pm on Fridays.

For over 40 years, Credo Community Center has been providing treatment to individuals whose lives have been negatively impacted by substance abuse. Credo Community Center has four residential treatment programs with a combined total of 72 beds, providing treatment to adolescents, women and children, and adult males. In addition Credo provides Outpatient substance abuse treatment services in Carthage and Watertown, treating 250 individuals on any given day.

The event would not be possible without the continued support of the Henderson Town Board, Fire Department, Rescue Squad, and Highway and Recreation Departments. The event’s success is also dependent upon the cooperation of the Henderson Harbor Yacht Club, the Association Island RV Park, and local residents. Special thanks are extended to the many dedicated volunteers who help keep everyone safe and the event running smoothly.
